Karen is a member of the firm's litigation group and focuses on large, complex corporate/commercial files. She is experienced in appearing before both tribunals and the court. Her repertoire also includes experience in other matters such as professional liability/negligence, environmental liability issues, regulatory compliance, privacy issues, and employment/labour litigation.

Karen is requested by solicitors in the firm and by clients to assist on corporate governance matters, corporate/commercial opinions or negotiations involving questions of liability, or contractual or legislative interpretation. She also provides and implements strategies in anticipation of situations which may give rise to litigation.
Karen's solutions-oriented perspective and thorough investigative nature further enhance the comfort of her colleagues and high-profile clients in their representations. She consistently provides effective, practical and prompt solutions to issues as they arise.

Highly regarded for her diligence to plaintiffs and defendants involving significant sums and considerable reputation issues, Karen is further appreciated for her knowledge and responsiveness.
